Toyota Virtual Racer/トヨタのバーチャルレース主役
By stephan | September 20, 2008
Hey guys,
just wanted to update you on my recent projects here in Tokyo. So F1 racing is (for good or for bad) making its entrance in to Japan, and Toyota is opening an “F1 Pit Stop Cafe” in the Roppongi district of Tokyo. To promote it they have a little online game called the “Virtual Racer” featuring me as the “Red Racer”!
Go play Virtual Racer for free here!!
Just click on the Virtual Racer icon on the bottom right corner of the page.
Basically the videos were made of hundreds of snapshots of me and the two other runners er* “racers”, so this project took three straight days of shooting in Yokohama. And yes, it was hot in that helmet.
Anyways, I think the final product looks pretty cool!
In other news, the Siren talk show with me and Saiga is tomarrow, so if you are in Tokyo get your tickets and come say hello to me and Seiji Hattori!
Thats its from me, be back soon!
Stephan

By stephan | August 27, 2008
Hey guys, sorry its been a while since Ive been on! Its been a busy summer here in Tokyo. Plenty of work, but more fun! I finally got the video for the Daikanyama Collection Fashion show that I did a few months ago. Im the first and last one out! I know its a bit “too cool for school” but that was the point. The brand, Maniac Works, which is a local Tokyo brand was aiming for 70`s bad boy style with leather jackets and slicked-back hair. Check out the video on the link below!
Daikanyama Spring Fashion Show

Listening To: True Love Waits: Christopher O`Riley Plays Radiohead: This is a must have collection of classically arranged piano versions of my favorite band ever. Once you take the vocals out of the tracks, the sonic landscapes in Radiohead`s songs really are revealed in their complexity and intensity. For me, this album allows me a way to appriciate songs such as ”Motion Picture Soundtrack” and “Fake Plastic Trees“ in completely new lights. Can`t say enough about O`Rileys version of “Subterranean Homesick Alien”, which nearly rivals the original in beauty and grace.

個人の意見だけど倖田さんは本当にきれいな女性だとおもーんだ![]()
出るのは一瞬なんですが(CMはそのもんだね)見ていただいて正直な感想をお聞かせてお~くれ!
Hey Everyone, hows it going?
I just got the video for a TV commercial I did featuring Koda Kumi, the J-Pop superstar.
It was the second time Ive worked with her in the past month, the other being for her concert video as her “prince”. It was a fun and quick shoot, and it was great to meet her again.
Thanks for dropping by!
Listening To: Zao: The Fear is What Keeps Us Here:
Blistering, intense, and complex songs from one of my favorite metalcore bands on their 8th album. While the uninitiated will discover in Zao a band who are devastatingly brutal, yet not bound by the restrictive confines of the American heavy music “scene”; for those in the know, this is quite simply the best progression from ”The Funeral Of God“ we could have hoped for.
Love,
Stephan

Hola
By Stephan | June 29, 2008
Its been a busy June in here, had a birthday, a couple of fashion shows, and got married! (for a day)
First off, The Daikanyama Collection show: for a rock n’ roll/punkish brand called Maniac Works. Great staff, good afterparty, fun show. Should have a video of the show for you soon, but go see the show`s page here: Daikanyama Collection/Maniac Works
Ill be doing their catalogue too so Ill keep you all posted for sure!
Secondly,
Had a great birthday, kickin it high-class at the SkyyBar in the Hyatt with the boys (see pic below)
Hot shit eh?
Last weekend I got married (divorced the next day) at a beautiful wedding hall in Karuizawa in Nagano to the most beautiful Ananda. Pics coming on their website soon, but for now check out that badass cake!
Just so you guys know, Im a music freak, and I consider myself pretty well-versed in everything rock n’ roll from classical to classic rock to 80`s to metal. I love to review and critique music and albums so Id love to hear your comments or recommendations about anything related to the music scene.
Listening to: OURS: Mercy (Dancing for the Death of an Imaginary Enemy)
A dark, satisfying 3rd album from Jeff Buckely follower Jimmy Gnecco, whose voice can reach the heavens in ways that would make bands like Muse and Travis green with envy. Shimmering guitar that both rocks and sooths at the same time. Seriously, don’t let this album pass you by. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why this band isn`t bigger than it is.
Watching: No Country For Old Men
Love,
Stephan

Stephan`s recent activity ステファンの最近の活躍
By Stephan | June 21, 2008
Hey guys! Welcome to my blog: a journal of my life and work as an actor and model in the most beautiful city of Tokyo!
Its a busy week here in Japanland! Over the last year plus I have been working with Sony in their new horror video game Siren: Blood Curse (Siren New Translation in Japan). It was a massive project, and I was involved in the acting scenes, including the motion capture and facial expression capture of the main character in the game, Howard Wright. Check out Siren Blood Curse here!
Last night the entire staff had a party to celebrate the completion of the game, in which media and press, as well as all of the actors were invited to check out the final version of the game, released July 14th! It was quite surreal to see players controlling my character killing zombies and whatnot! For those of you who own a PS3, there is already a demo release of the game, and its free so check it out!
It was amazing to see how many people: programers, advertising staff, designers (over 300) are involved in the making of this project; definantly one of the greatest experiences of my life in Tokyo so far. But there will be many more, so please check back and here about whats going on in my life!
Listening to: Coldplay Viva La Vida
Watching: The Bank Job
